While E3 2020 may be canceled, there are still plenty of ways for you to get your fix of gaming news this summer. In fact, month-long events like IGN’s Summer of Gaming and Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest are promising tons of new game reveals and announcements from upcoming projects. Summer Game Fest will even host a week of gameplay demos on Steam so that you can get the E3 expo demo experience right from home.
On top of these big curated events, Xbox, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, and other publishers will put on their own shows this summer. EA will host its yearly EA Play event in June as planned, while Ubisoft will unveil a new slate of titles in July. Xbox will showcase its first-party titles for the Xbox Series X sometime in July as well. And we don’t even know what surprises PlayStation and Nintendo might have in store for fans! Expect a jam-packed summer of gaming, basically.
