Popular streamer Dr DisRespect has revealed his final 3D design for “The Arena,” the map he created for the free-to-play multiplayer shooter Rogue Company. The streamer, who made his comeback on YouTube earlier this month after being permanently banned from Twitch in June, has been working on the new map for the past few days as part of a partnership with the game, which is currently in a closed beta.
Check out the video below:
Dr DisRespect’s campaign to promote the shooter on his streams was staged as “a challenge” to the streamer, who previously had a career in the games industry as a map designer. Among his credits include work on the multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. So when Dr DisRespect “asked” developer First Watch Games and publisher Hi-Rez Studios if he could design a map, promising that he’d bring “violence, speed, and momentum” to the game, the studio gave him 24 hours to come up with a blueprint.
“That’s a big ‘hell-yeah’ Two-Time, but you haven’t designed a level since 1997. You think you can walk back and build an instant classic?” wrote Rogue Company‘s official Twitter handle. “How about this, you’ve got 24 hours to prove you can design a map. Then we’ll go from there. You in?”
The next day, Dr DisRespect unveiled his initial design, showing off a map the emphasized close quarters combat and speed:
The Rogue Company team then challenged him to create a 3D model of the map, which Dr DisRespect delivered last Friday:
Now, with the map design finalized, the Rogue Company team has set to work on adding the map to the shooter. The team lauded Dr DisRespect’s design skills on Twitter, saying, “No one does it better Doc, this map is already looking like the peak of the mountain and we aren’t even halfway done. You wrote the book on Violence, Speed, and Momentum and The Arena brings it.”
First Watch Games did not provide a timeline for when “The Arena” would actually be inserted in the game, but judging from the speed in which the map went from a pitch to a full 3D rendering, Rogue Company players should probably expect it sooner rather than later.

Dr DisRespect also gave his fans a first look at his new memoir, Violence. Speed. Momentum., this week. The book will reveal “never-before-told stories” about his streaming career.
Rogue Company is scheduled to release later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
