Superman & Lois is on one of its scheduled breaks at the moment, but don’t you worry, because it will be back soon enough! For a show that lulled everyone into a false sense of security in its early episodes about the scope of its ambitions, the back half of the season has delivered shock after shock.
Here’s the official synopsis for the new episode of Superman & Lois, which is appropriately titled “The Eradicator.”
“Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) is worried about Jordan (Alex Garfin) as he and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) continue to grow closer. Meanwhile, Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) pays Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) a visit. Lastly, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) has been spending more and more time with John Henry (Wole Parks). Erik Valdez, Dylan Walsh and Adam Rayner also star.”
Hey, you know who ISN’T mentioned in that synopsis? Morgan Edge himself, Adam Rayner’s Tal-Rho…the guy who actually is becoming the titular Eradicator based on the events of recent episodes. Superman & Lois episode 14 is directed by Alexandra La Roche and written by Max Cunningham and Brent Fletcher.
Check out the trailer for the episode, which also looks pretty intense…
Superman & Lois episode 14, “The Eradicator” airs on Aug. 10 on the CW at 9 pm. We have some bonus info for you, too!
Superman & Lois Season Finale Details
There’s one more episode coming after “The Eradicator,” and the season finale of Superman & Lois airs the following Tuesday on Aug. 17. This one bears the majestic title “Last Sons of Krypton,” although in true CW fashion for this show, the official synopsis doesn’t reveal any of the juicy bits! Those scamps.
“In the action-packed season finale, Superman’s (Tyler Hoechlin) worst nightmare comes to life, and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) confronts Leslie Larr (guest star Stacey Farber, Degrassi: The Next Generation). Meanwhile, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui), Kyle (Erik Valdez) and Sarah (Inde Navarette) agree to stay to help General Lane (Dylan Walsh). Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Wole Parks and Adam Rayner also star.”
None other than The Flash‘s Tom Cavanagh directed this episode, from a story by Kristi Korzec and Michael Narducci, with a teleplay by Brent Fletcher and Todd Helbing.
Superman & Lois Season 2
And after that? Well, don’t worry, folks! Superman & Lois season 2 is already confirmed at The CW. Episodes will continue to stream on their app, and season one will likely hit HBO Max shortly after this finale. Don’t expect Superman & Lois season 2 in the fall, though, as the series has been slated for midseason, and likely won’t arrive until at least January 2022.
