Xbox Game Pass: Free Games for November 2019 Revealed

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s subscription service for Xbox One owners. It’s designed to be like a “Netflix for games,” where you pay a simple monthly rate and get access to loads of games for download. It’s not to be confused with the Xbox Live Gold membership, which gives users a selection of free games each month.

There was a huge surge in popularity and profile for Xbox Game Pass in 2018, mainly due to Microsoft unveiling a strategy that puts brand new games on the service. Sea of Thieves was the first example of this, followed by State of Decay 2. Crackdown 3 launched on Feb. 15

Membership to Xbox Game Pass will set you back $9.99 per month, although the official Microsoft website will currently sell you the first month for just $1. Amazon is currently selling 3 months for $25, as well. Game Pass is also now available on PC for the same price (following the end of a limited-time promotion).

New games are added each month to Xbox Game Pass, and these are some of the recent titles to get excited about:

Here’s the full list of new stuff that Microsoft has announced for Xbox Game Pass this month…

October has already given us Dishonored 2, World War Z, Yooka Laylee, Fallout: New VegasFelix The Reaper, and Panzer Dragoon Orta. And now this fresh wave of Game Pass games have been confirmed for consoles…

Lonely Mountains Downhill: a cycling game with some really cute visuals, which came to Game Pass on Oct. 23.

Secret Neighbor: The sequel to Hello Neighbor, this is a multiplayer horror game where kids rally together to save a friend from a creepy basement. It came to Game Pass on Oct. 23.

Minit: a black and white adventure game, played in 60-second chunks, which came to Game Pass on Oct. 24.

The Outer Worlds: a new RPG from the makers of Fallout: New Vegas, landing on Game Pass on Oct. 25. Read our review here.

Afterparty: get smashed with Satan in this enjoyable indie title, where your main mission is to drink the devil under the table. It arrives on Oct. 29.

LEGO Star Wars III: relive the excitement of the brick-based Clone Wars with this Xbox 360 title, which comes to Game Pass on Oct. 31.

Subnautica: the first Game Pass game confirmed for November, this intriguing indie lets you dive deep into the oceans of an alien world. It’ll arrive on Nov. 7.
