Michael Cassutt guests on ZNation Season 5 Episode 1 Review & After Show

Z Nation has returned, and season 5 has started off with a bang! Hosts Katie Cullen and Michelle Cullen and special guest co-executive producer Michael Cassutt cover the season 5 premiere! The drone distributing the black rain crashes with Warren inside, and she survives thanks to medic turned farmer Cooper, who has a secret of his own. Murphy peels off from the main group to go search for Warren – he knows she’s alive, and he’s determined to find her, no matter how many zombie brains he has to eat on the way. Sarge, 10K, and Doc have picked up a group of survivors and made their way to Newmerica – such as it is – where they meet George and find out that fresh zombies now talk and can keep their hunger for brains at bay with the help of Z Biscuits. In Z Nation, three years have passed since the zombie virus has gutted the country, and a team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Although the antibodies he carries are the world’s last, best hope for a vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With humankind’s survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post-apocalyptic America.
